Quintessentially English, with beautifully manicured lawns and hedges, a wedding in the walled garden at The Four Seasons, Hampshire is always special. We were delighted to work with a lovely couple, Sophie & Lukas, to design their wedding flowers. We reflect back on the beautiful summer wedding flowers at this real wedding with the wonderful images from Pippa Mackenzie.
Elegant and timeless with a soft, delicate colour palette, from buttonholes to bouquets, urns to table decorations, the floral designs complemented the beautiful venue and this wonderful couple.

The Ceremony
Outside, grand urns on tall columns created the perfect backdrop for the ceremony, effortlessly blending with the stunning country garden stetting.

White hydrangea nestled with blush pink roses, peonies and pretty wax flower with a heady fragrance of tuber rose mixing with cascades of jasmine.
Rose petals lined the walk completing the elegant setting for this wonderful ceremony in impeccable style.

The Bouquets
Ensuring that all the florals worked together, elements from the ceremony and reception designs were mirrored in Sophie’s bridal bouquet. A classic posy shape and the perfect size to work with her dress, Sophie’s bouquet added an elegant finishing touch. She looked stunning in her beautiful Jesus Peiro gown with full train, gorgeous bow and veil.

Sophie’s bridesmaids, stunning in their delicate pink dresses each held a smaller posy bouquet with flowers featured in her own whilst Lukas opted for a large ivory rose buttonhole finished with delicate wax flower to complete his attire flawlessly complementing the bridal party.

The Reception
The floral designs continued inside to the fabulous ball room where the couple hosted their wedding breakfast and celebrations. Urns on columns mirroring those from the garden were placed either side of the top table with low vase arrangements, candles and rose petals on the table itself.

Height was added to the room with arrangements on stands elegantly gracing each table which allowed for the foliage to gently cascade.

Looking over these wonderful photographs from the amazing talents of Pippa MacKenzie, it’s clear to see that Sophie and Lukas had a beautiful day celebrating with friends, family and loved ones.
